Purchasing Gift Cards



Where can I buy Gift Cards?

Gift Cards can be purchased both online & in all Rodd & Gunn stores, excluding MYER concession stores.

 

Can I redeem Gift Cards purchased online, instore?

Yes, all Gift Cards whether purchased Online or Instore can be redeemed both Online & Instore.

 

What Gift Card values are available for purchase?

Online there are 9 denominations available to purchase; $20, $50, $100, $150, $200, $350, $500, $750 & $1000. You can view and purchase from our Gift Card page.

Instore, a Gift Card can be generated at any value requested up to $1500.

 

Can I send a Gift Card to a friend if I purchase online?

Certainly, select a different ‘Shipping Address’ to the ‘Billing Address’ to have it sent to your friend directly. You can also add a Gift Message in the checkout process that will be sent with the Gift Card.\

 

Can I email a Gift Card to a friend?

Unfortunately not, although we do hope to make this available in the future.

 

How quickly can Gift Cards be received?

Gift Cards are either sent the same or next day by Express Overnight Shipping. Please visit our Delivery page for shipping information.

 

Are Gift Cards sent using a trackable courier service?

Yes, to ensure security, all Gift Card packages are sent using trackable and traceable postal services.

 

Redeeming Gift Cards

 


How do I redeem a Gift Card in store?

Simply take your Gift Card with you to the store and a Customer Team Member will assist you with the transaction.

 

How do I redeem a Gift Card/s online?

Upon checkout, simply select ‘Gift Card’ as the payment method, placing the Gift Card number in the field and then select the ‘Submit Gift Card’ button. This will show the Gift Card amount redeemed and the expiry date. You then have an option to either enter a second Gift Card or fill in the credit card information below to settle the ‘Outstanding Balance’ of the order. Once this process is completed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

 

How do I check my Gift Card balance and Expiry Date?

To check your Gift Card balance Instore please ask at the register, you will need to have either your Gift Card or Gift Card number with you to check the balance.

To check your Gift Card balance Online, you can do so during checkout by selecting ‘Gift Card’ as a payment option, placing the Gift Card number in the field and then select ‘Submit Gift Card’ button. This will show Gift Card balance and expiry date.

 

Can I add more value to a Gift Card?

Unfortunately not, once a Gift Card has been purchased the value on it cannot be increased.

 

Are there any products that I can’t use my Gift Card for?

No restrictions apply around Gift Card product redemption.

 

If I purchase a Gift Card in Australia can it be redeemed in New Zealand?

Unfortunately not, Gift Cards can only be redeemed in the country & currency in which they were purchased.

Returning Items purchased with a Gift Card



Can I return or refund a Gift Card?

Gift Cards cannot be returned or refunded. Please read the Gift Card Terms of Use below.

 

Can I return purchases made with a Gift Card?

Yes, our normal store return policies apply. Please present the item with your Gift Card and receipt at any Rodd & Gunn store, excluding Myer concessions.

If the purchase was made online, please return the item as per the instructions on your Tax Invoice to assist us with processing the request.

 

Online returns:

All returned items that were paid for with a Gift Card will be refunded to the original Gift Card. Please contact a store or online@roddandgunn.com if the original Gift Card has been misplaced.

If you return an item paid by both Gift Card and credit card, you will be refunded on your credit card up to the amount of your initial card payment and the remaining amount will be refunded to the original Gift Card used for the order.

Instore Returns:

All returned items that were paid for with a Gift Card will be refunded to a new Gift Card.

Exchanging Items purchased using a Gift Card



Can I exchange an item from a purchase I made using a Gift Card instore?

Yes, exchanges are as per our regular Returns & Exchange conditions.

 

Can I exchange an item from a purchase I made using a Gift Card online?

Yes, exchanges are as per our regular Returns & Exchange conditions. Please follow the steps on the Tax Invoice that you received with your order.

If an item you wish to exchange for is of greater value, our Customer Service Team will contact you to organise payment of the additional value.
